Exceptional service, nice ambience and great food is how I would sum our lunch at Kokanvan.
As soon as you enter you feel the warmth of the minimalist yet welcoming ambience. We were prompltly seated by Mr Vijay who was our server. He was very attentive,polite and made sure food was prepared as per the customisation we requested. His service was impeccable.
The food was fresh, the flavours were on point and it was good value for money. We had Crab thali and Fried Bombay Duck. Each dish in thali was delicious with distinct aroma and flavours,quantity was more than sufficient.Bombay duck was crispy n melt in mouth. Special shoutout to Chef Chutan's Culinary creations and special care he took to make the food as per our taste buds.
Overall an amazing experience and indeed an afternoon well spent.

We ordered Prawns Tawa Fry, Paplet Thali, Paplet Fry, and Chicken Bhakri — everything was super delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavors. The Paplet Fry was especially outstanding. Highly recommend this place for true Konkani food lovers!

Kokanvan is a beautiful, Aesthetic Restaurant which satisfies the food cravings in the most delicious ways ! Be it Chicken, Seafood or Mutton.. all of them tasted so good ! With unique curry of each one of them ! Bhakris were soft and thin, Freshly fried wada. You totally cannot miss this place! Sasurwadi is a hype ! That doesnt serve their claim!
Kokanvan is delivering you the authentic taste in its true sense in the most humble way possible without being pompous about it !
Prices are so affordable without being heavy on your pockets ! Hosted a team lunch party for 21 people and yet it fit my budget ! Amazing !

I have visited this restaurant for quick lunch. The hotel ambience is decent and cool. Unlike many seafood restaurants, this one doesn't smells. Pleasant atmosphere. I ordered Surmai Thali. They served the thali in ten minutes. Surmai fry was crispy and atleast 8" big. Very tasty fish with optimum spice. They serve dry prawns chatni and fish curry with small bandga fish peace. Fish curry was tasty authentic konkan style goes well with Indrayani rice. Over all very satisfying experience. Thali costs only 650₹ which is value for money 👍 If you are looking for an authentic seafood thali, this place is worth to visit.

My experience at Kokanvan Restaurant was really good. The food tasted amazing and the place had a nice vibe.

I visited with my husband and 15 months old toddler for lunch. We ordered the vegetarian thali and egg bhurji. Both were tasty and felt nutritionally balanced. Parking is a bit of a problem here and I was worried that my car could be towed away. Since I was visiting with a small child I expected a baby feeding chair but it was placed outside and didn’t look clean enough to use. Other than that it was a pleasant and satisfying dining experience.

Chicken thali- best to have with kombdi Wade
Bombil thali-served with 2 tawa fries bombil. Along with 2 different authentic malvani fish curries and bhakri
Prawns thali- seved with tawa fried prawns with prawns curry and bhakri,
Crab thali is must try , it gets heavy for a single person.
Every thali was accompanied with solkadhi, coconut chutney and dried prawns.people who wants to try authentic malwani cuisine must try कोकणवन

Kokanvan served authentic kokani food that too at a great price. we started with pomfret fry which was super fresh and cooked well too.

fried prawns were tasting too good along with the green chutney.
Sol kadhi and kokum sarbat is always best with this kind of meal.
Thali is amazing too. surmai thali and bombil both thalis had super traditional fish curry which was the highlight.
Gulabjam was too good to end the amazing meal.

Recently visited Kokanvan Hotel, and I must say it was a truly satisfying experience for anyone who loves authentic coastal flavors.
Mutton Soup: Absolutely flavorful.
Prawns: Fresh and perfectly cooked.
Chicken Masala with Amboli: The highlight of the meal. The chicken was tender and the masala was rich, spicy, and full of flavor. Paired with soft, spongy Amboli, it was the perfect combo.

Yummy in our tummy… I have been here with my family for Sunday lunch and it was just amazing. We had different thalis so that we can get taste of all. The fish served was very fresh and the taste is authentic malvan style.
Modak was served at the end as a sweet dish which was outstanding.
It is a must visit place.

Love the entire experience in Kokanvan I Had Paplet Thali which was amazing but what amazed me was the background Maharastrian Konkani song that was playing that add more happiness to my Thali. Service was quick and taste was very authentic. Yashwant serve me well throughout the time.
